Ugly mess im in

Im just wanna vent my concern on my recent case for orthodontics. I met a friend who is a lawyer. Practicing in civil. Convenient right? At 1st it was so promising we met to discuss then later on,we were invited to his office and meet his boss.
So i went there. Not alone . We discussed about it and concluded we have a case. Partially ive agreed to the terms and was supposed to be. To prepare all the requested proof to have . Since then he hardly replied to my text , more like ignoring text not even read it. Once he called saying he was so cramped with cases and he forgot to reply. I gave way.

But it doesnt stop there. As soon i get my full medical report i forwarded to him and had to follow up on him bout it. Im texting him again of the next move. He didnt reply and now from his whatsapp profile i cant even see his picture.

Is this a sign ? Of something? Why is he doing this? He expected me to contact and begging and maybe pay up first then only i can have a case? Is that it?
Why is he ghosting me? Im giving him the soace and let him find the time to get back to me.
Obviously that doesnt work ayy
Maybe i’d be 40years old by then.
